Where do we store information
Information in hard copy is held at our premises or at off-site storage locations in the Republic of Ireland. Some of our online services and some client documents are stored electronically. Our Netdocuments service stores data in servers based in the UK. Our website is hosted with an Irish ISP host.
The personal information that we collect
We do not collect any information that can personally identify anyone visiting our websites unless you choose to provide that information by contacting us through the provided form. We do not make you provide any personal information in order to use the public areas of this website.
We may collect your name, email address, organisation name and telephone contact number for the purpose of sending you information requested by you on our website. We will only use those personal details for that purpose, unless you indicate that you want us to send you occasional updates and newsletters from time to time. If you later decide that you do not want to receive this material, please notify us at info@tmrmarks.ie.
If you order or purchase services from our websites we will collect your name, email address, organisation name and contact telephone number. If we ever ask you for credit card information when you purchase services form our website we will only do so on pages with SSL encryption. Credit card information is not stored online.
Your IP addresses and cookies
An IP address is a unique number assigned to each computer connected to the internet. It is used to allow your computer to communicate over the internet. The IP address assigned to your computer may remain the same whenever you use that computer to connect to the internet.
The IP address will not allow a user to be identified, but it may enable us to identify which organisations have visited our websites. When you visit our websites our internet host provider’s server will record the IP address together with the date, time and duration of the visit. This information will be available to us.
This information is recorded by a “session” cookie. The cookie will track what pages you visit on our site and how you use our site. It does not retrieve information about you stored on your hard drive and will not corrupt or damage your computer or computer files. We offer clients the opportunity to use a cloud file storage and collaboration service provided by Netdocuments. You can read the Netdocuments privacy policy here.
If you elect to use our Netdocuments service, when you log on a personal session cookie will be created and will be used to track your usage of the Netdocuments service. It is not possible to use the full Netdocuments services if you disable cookies on your computer.
If after you have elected to be registered for the service, but before using the service for the first time, you can choose not to accept the Netdocuments Terms of Use and its Privacy Policy by not clicking on the link contained in the welcome email. In this case, your account will remain inactive.
You can ask us for access to, to correct and to erase your personal information
You are entitled, subject to certain exemptions, to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to correct any inaccuracies in such data. If you want to request information about your personal information, you can ask us at info@tmrmarks.ie.
